Civil status records will be entered in one or more duplicate registers in each municipality.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><b>Article 52\u00a0<\/b>of the Civil Code. Any registration of these acts on a loose-leaf, or otherwise than on the registers intended for this purpose, will give rise to damages for the parties, without prejudice to the penalties provided for in the Criminal Code.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><b>Article 192<\/b>\u00a0of the Penal Code. Civil registrars who record their acts on simple loose sheets will be punished by imprisonment of at least one month and at most three months and a fine of 16 francs to 200 francs.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\">The closing form may be worded as follows: \"The present register containing (indicate the number in full) records of has been closed and stopped this day of Hui (date in full) by me, the registrar of.....\".
