But everyone's goodwill enabled it to develop rapidly. Its work and the seriousness of its actions have made it well known both in genealogical circles and in the French archives. The association publishes a quarterly journal, \"G\u00e9n\u00e9alogie en Yvelines\". A library containing 2,000 genealogical works and a list of families studied by members and those of regional and departmental circles. Palaeography courses are an essential complement to genealogical research.
