Fu rappresentata l'opera in 5 atti \"La muette de Portici de <a href=\"http:\/\/www.musicologie.org\/Biographies\/auber_daniel.html\">Daniel Esprit Fran\u00e7ois <strong>AUBERT<\/strong><\/a> (1782-1871), alle parole di <a href=\"http:\/\/marthe-peyroux2.azurewebsites.net\/\/Scribe.htm\">Eug\u00e8ne <strong>SCRIVANIA<\/strong><\/a> (1791-1861) e <a href=\"https:\/\/data.bnf.fr\/fr\/12268158\/germain_delavigne\/\">Louis Marie Germain <strong>DE LA VIGNE o DELAVIGNE<\/strong> (1790-1868<\/a>) . Questo dramma \u00e8 stato il punto di partenza della rivoluzione belga. Descrive sul palcoscenico una rivolta condotta a Portici, vicino a Napoli, nel XVII secolo contro la dominazione spagnola. Anche il popolo belga conosceva questa situazione all'epoca. Nell'Atto 3 dopo la Scena 4, interpretato dal tenore <a href=\"https:\/\/www.lamonnaiebelge.be\/inspiration\/le-blog-de-maarten\/154-muette-de-portici\">Jean Fran\u00e7ois <strong>LAFEUILLADE<\/strong><\/a> ha gridato \"Alle armi, alle armi! Il pubblico entusiasta si alz\u00f2 in piedi e cant\u00f2 \"Nazionale, nazionale! \" . Nel giro di pochi giorni si scaten\u00f2 l'anarchia totale. Bruxelles fu saccheggiata e bruciata.
