The aim of this association is to bring together beginners and experienced genealogists researching their Spanish ancestors. In a spirit of exchange, sharing and mutual aid, it aims to reconstruct the history of their ancestry and to inform genealogists interested in the history and culture of Spanish society. To this end, the association carries out research in archive centres concerning Spanish immigration in the 37, 16, 57 and 42 departmental archives.
The association is made up of amateurs with a wealth of experience in the field of research in Spain, but also in France. The association can guide you in your dealings with Spain and help you find the addresses of the various authorities that hold the documents you are looking for. It writes letters in Spanish and provides translations, as well as providing information on the history of Spain and their Spanish ancestors. The association publishes a quarterly magazine, "Hola Gen-Ibérica", which is available to members and can be downloaded.

Objectives:
- Bringing together people who practise genealogy or are interested in family history
- Promote the mutual exchange of information and spread knowledge of genealogy
- Meet people from the same area, a village that may already have researched the families you are interested in.
