The aim of this association is to bring together amateur genealogists to help them with their personal research, mainly in the Midi-Pyrénées and Languedoc-Roussillon regions.
is an association governed by the Law of 1901, affiliated to the Union des Cercles Généalogiques et Héraldique de Normandie (UCGHN), itself affiliated to the Fédération Française de Généalogie. Its aim is to help people who are curious about their Norman ancestors and their way of life, by offering advice, research and various forms of assistance in the (sometimes complex but always enjoyable) world of genealogy.
This association uses all present and future means and in particular :
- organising meetings, conferences and congresses.
- organising conferences and exhibitions on genealogy and related sciences.
- The publication of a quarterly magazine.
- The publication of genealogical works.
- Setting up libraries and document collections in all its Locals with premises.
- The implementation of IT resources in all its Local Sections with premises.
