The Brie Comte Robert Genealogical Association was founded on 7 April 2006 following the success of the first two "Genealogy Open Days" in our commune.
These two events brought together a large number of people who were motivated and interested in seeing the creation of an association and in having a place to meet, work and exchange ideas.
A year later, with two meetings a week, there were 60 members.
Since then, we have digitised all the BMS-NMD registers of Brie Comte Robert from 1485 to 1933, representing over 70,000 photos and some 85,000 records. We are currently processing 12,100 records.
If you want to find out about your roots and your family history, the Association Généalogique de Brie Comte Robert is a place where you can exchange ideas and help each other to begin this exciting adventure and discover a world you could never have imagined.
