U.R.A.G. 59/62 and Belgium is an association of presidents of historical and genealogical associations: it does not answer questions concerning genealogy or history. It does not accept individual members. A non-profit-making association governed by the law of 1 July 1901. Registered with the Pas de Calais prefecture under no. 0621004926.
The association endeavours to coordinate the activities of the affiliated associations without interfering in the internal affairs of each of them. In some cases, it may collectively represent the interests of member associations.
It contributes to the publication of :
- boatmen's registers, a genuine grouping of all references to boatmen in current deeds;
- It publishes a list of the towns studied in the Nord-Pas de Calais region. Please contact one of the member associations below.
