SUMMARY

Middelnederlands - Middle Dutch
Nederlands - Dutch
Frans - French

Middle Dutch (Middelnederlands in Dutch) is a precursor of the modern Dutch language. It was spoken in the Netherlands and northern Belgium between 1150 and 1500. Middle Dutch, which developed from Old Dutch, is also[1] called Thiois (diets in Dutch), although the term is not linguistically appropriate.

The Middelnederlands is a key player in the modern Dutch market.
